so thats the magnificant view...fabulous scenery and expensive dinner we had. after all the pic taking...we went to search for Club 9. when we finally found it...it was members nite. so disappointedly we went to Sugar. but it turned out nice...great hiphop music...better than the last time i went phuture. so, after some exercise...took taxi back home.
this pic is the view of part of this huge theme park...from the relaxing revolving ride. took roller coasters which looked real scary...but turned out alright. not as scary as i expected.
we made it just in time for a seal+dolphin performance...so cute lah! so feel like touching the dolphins. after all the rides...the hot sun was drying us up aGaiN. so we went into this "underwater world". bigger and nicer than sentosa's. saw all sorts of sea creatures...sharks, stingray, assorted fishes, turtles etc. also touched star fish & sea cucumber...eEee..hahaha
also saw this cute little sea angel...it's this translucent thing...like flapping its wings...looking like an angel~ didn't know there was such a thing...kekeke too tiny...couldn't capture it on camera. next was a jellyfish world where all sorts of jellies can be found. small, big, long, short, tiny, yucky, cute, scary, fat, colourful. ALL kinds.

Then took a veri high and long cable car ride to the other part of ocean park. see how many cable cars they have! and it goes up high...then down...then up higheR...then down.
upon reaching the other side...we took a short hotair balloon ride up to wOw at the view again. then sat some kiddy rides like panda-go-round. oh yah...luckily they sold this refreshing icy lime drink at stations ard ocean pk...so that we didn't dehydrate. shiOk~ but not suitable for diabetics.
left ocean park ard evening...and made our way to causeway bay. had cheap macdonalds and then ate famous "xu liu san" desserts. mango mango mango. walked ard abit b4 heading back home. 3rd day:
had wanton mee for breakfast and went to stanley market where karen bought lotsa souvenirs. especially lighters. hahaha next, went to repulse bay. the sun was really good for tanning. the beach was real wide...it could accomodate lotsa lotsa pple! 1st time seeing such a nice, clear beach. this is wat i call the suN, the sAnd and the sEa. =P
went back to causeway bay to walk more and lunch. took rail bus...which was the longish tram attached to above wires, moving on the roads. later on, went central pier to take star ferry to avenue of stars which we will await symphony of lights and fireworks! caught beautiful sunset on the smooth ferry ride. saw Star Pisces cruise along the way...i hope to sit that 1 dae. hahhaa my cruise!
luckily we were there early...otherwise we wouldn't get a good place to view the spectacular display of fireworks. didn't manage to take any nice pic of the sympony of lights...coz of the normal camera. think those nice pics u usually see... are taken using pro cameras and photo shop editing ba. anyway...everyone was more engrossed with the fireworks.
so after the show...we walked thru' the avenue of stars looking at the ground most of the time. think there were more than 50 "stars" on the ground along the whole stretch.
made our way back to our hotel and came across this dessert shop that we juz couldn't resist. with mango triangular icekachang...& i realli mean pointed triangle. too bad the jelly was out of stock.
so after storing enough food in our tummies...we set off for a long & tiring dae. it was a walking day...& we went everywhere by foot. no bus no train. coz the route for the day was like a huge U-turn. from mongkok...we walked to nearby langham place shopping centre. then down towards mirama shopping centre. along the way..there were many shops to see...although the route was suPeR long...we made it! went to find lane crawford to buy havaiianas slippers which turned out to be so expensive...(i thought it would be cheaper than s'pore)...but since we finally found the place...can't waste all our effort rite? so i rewarded myself...& by then my feet were acheing from the lousy thin-based slippers i had on. after so much walking...sun went down...we were on our way to temple street to searched for cheap & nice seafood dinner. it was damn shiok la. all thanx to dm who introduced some kinda hard-shelled prawns and bamboo clams. it was soOo yummy! will try to find in s'pore...but i guess its realli rare. i miss it already!
then we were heading back towards our hotel's direction...and continued walking thru' temple street and then followed by ladies market...which was juz a few metres away from our home. our feet were acheing and mine was practically calling for help. so we desperately went to find foot massage. after walking ard our area...finally found one juz opposite our hotel...juz when we were abt to give up. wat a relief! it was super shiok. kinda painful for me...coz according to her...i've got a lingba problem. haiz. another problem to shorten my life. anywayz...after pampering ourselves...went for the triangular dessert again. this time 3 flavours in one (mango, strawberry & peach)...& there was jelly! woO hOoo~ sLurP.
5th day:

& we reached juz in time to see the parade...juz like chingay. floats for each animation. snow white, cinderella, little mermaid, toy story and of course...mickey & frenz!

headed back...but stopped by at this Lucky Desserts near our hotel. the durian drew us in. as u walk in...u smell it already! oh manz...it was yummy to the max. too nice to be true. i'm not exaggerating...i really love those desserts!! look!
it was durian madness...superliciously delicious. pure durian that fills ur mouth with durian breath after that. haha the drink & strawberry pudding not veri nice..comparatively. *home sweet home*
i realli enjoyed this trip... i miss it already! thanx karen & dm~ wait...gotta thank my parents too...for the financial assistance...hahaha i did control my spending...it was reasonable. =P being in a totally new place...like entering cantonese world...was kinda challenging. somehow could understand a little of what they spoke...but when it got too fast...i was lost. luckily dm was fluent. poor him... was the translator, photographer(not all the time) and map(although not alwayz right...wahaha) but still give him some credit for being a great "tour guide" kekeke i said "um goy sai" the most and i liked "tak um tak" wahaha so farnie. =P most amazingly...this trip, we took all the modes of transport available. aeroplane, bus, mrt train, tram, taxi, ferry, hotair balloon, cable car...woOo hOo~ break record. hahah well...everything turned out really good...apart from the 2 waterless nites in the hotel and the scorching sun. overall happiness scale: 9/10 (nothing is perfect)
