Its about time. finally went to Genting theme park. This yr end trip was a short but FUN one! Coach: Sri Maju. Date: 28-30 Dec09. It was a 3-day movie marathon as well. As a movie fanatic, of course i'd rather watch movies than sleep on the coach. Due to timing and journey, dozed off at some parts. Total movies watched: 7. watched till eyes wanna pop out le. hahaha Movies on coach: Max Payne, Windstruck, Happily N'ever After, My Girl and I, Transformers 1. Movies in genting cinema: The Princess and the Frog, Avatar. wooOoohooo shiokz.
Day 1: took 2 hrs to check into first world. 100+ pple before us. unbelievably crowded. think they should change their name. overall service at genting was quite terrible.. onli a few gems here & there. watever la. so we put our stuff in the small cosy room and went out for late lunch at 4+pm. Went to catch princess & frog, coz not much other things to do. i think it was nice, coz happily ever after and the ending was quite smart. had a quick dinner and later at nite went snow world. we were all freezing after 20mins. nose felt frozen and like dropping off anytime. but the slideS were super fun! our secretive photo-taking made it even more exciting.
Day 2: Halfway thru' my sleep... vinc called. they drove up to genting from their drive trip for some gambling! So me & neo crawled out of bed, grabbed a jacket and machiam sleep walking, went to meet him at casino. but wasn't allowed in coz didn't bring verifications. We must have looked damn shag but could tok kok a while before going back to dreamland. So morning ate instant noodles as quick breakfast before setting off for our theme park! Got the 1-day pass for both indoor & outdoor. indoor nothing much so spend most of the day at the outdoor park. weather fluctuated thru'out. drizzle, cloudy, sunny, drizzle, clear sky. the ride queues were long.. as expected. some rides were closed but we managed to play as much as we could. the coasters were so fun! personally love the flying coaster, which was a separate ride from the theme park. so glad i took that, otherwise i would have regretted. felt like i was flying. can't wait to go other theme parks ard the world...
Day 3: Got up early to check out. had starbucks for breakfast. watched avatar. really beautiful scenes... wish there were such colourful and magical places in reality. oh well. had a quick lunch before boarding coach back to sg.
It was a great getaway. a fantastic end to 2009. Tmr will be the start of a brand new yr. Stars symbolise a new start. light in the darkness. positivity, hope, dreams, freedom, high ambitions, ideals and even life itself. It also has mystical and magical significance. yes, 1 Jan 2010 will be significant. Finally.
